Cycling is many things to many people, it can be transportation, recreation, freedom to explore new environments, a social function, a profession and is even an Olympic sport.
It's our mission to inspire and provide underprivileged children with the tools to achieve personal successes by utilizing life skills learned through cycling. We encourage a commitment to education and a healthy lifestyle through physical activity.
The many skills acquired through cycling such as perseverance, focus, patience, self-motivation, team work and much more develop over time. We focus on intercating with children early in their development, beginning around 5 yrs old when they are first able to ride a bicycle. Our programs and the various partners we work with focus on the long term development of these skills. We support existing programs as well as develop our own that fill the void not currently being addressed.
We bring together a variety of individual programs under the umbrella of the Fast Freddie Foundation to ensure a longitudinal focus on a child's development.
